“Start-up” Fund by Tirana Municipality
The purpose of this Fund is to support sustainable business plans created by young people in Tirana who are capable of surviving in a competitive market.
Funded from public sources and in addition to grant support, the project provides business skills training as well as vocational qualifications. Are eligible to participate young people aged 18-35 who have a business idea or have an existing small business and require financial support for its expansion within the territory of the Municipality of Tirana.
Eligible business activities are from sectors such as: rural businesses; tourism; information and communication technologies (ICT); textile industry; services; handicrafts.
The project is divided into three phases:
Phase One: Eligible candidates apply with their basic business idea through the Application Form.
Phase Two: Applicants with the best business ideas attend a training (10 half business days) on general business skills and business plan development and only then submit their business plans.
Business plans will be a more elaborate version of the business idea and will compete for grant support.
Phase Three: The winners selected by the Evaluation Committee will sign an 18 month contract to receive grant funding and advisory support.
